We were commissioned to develop the overall concept and graphic design for Switzerland’s contribution to the 7th International Architecture Biennial in São Paulo, Brazil.

Focusing on fifteen projects realized in Switzerland, the relationship between architecture and landscape was examined in the context of democratic decision-making processes.

An oversized ribbon with large-scale graphics and project presentations runs through the exhibition space, creating an informative spatial sculpture. The colors of the ribbon and the accompanying floor covering communicate the exhibition’s theme of Swiss identity and fragmented landscapes.

After São Paulo, the exhibition was presented at the Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel, the Today Art Museum in Beijing, and the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in Hong Kong & Shenzhen.
